After months of contemplation, I advocate values considered feminist, but no longer identify as a feminist.
Feminism changed my life...but as an old best friend of mine once said...relationships are supposed to end. People (or in this case, things) get what they can from each other, and then they move on--it's okay.
For me, it is really all about gender-neutral child socialization. But I will refrain from declaring myself a gender-neutralist...as I have abandoned all self-proclaimed political labels, and certainly am not in the mood to invent my own (but if my opinions change, I might be so inclined later).
Feel free to call me on my shit: I will never escape all titles...but I can sure try.

tap water
I am a bit confused...
I find myself around a lot of environmentalists who drink tap water.
Here's my deal: if you think pollution is seeping into our soil and ground water--why are you drinking out of the tap?
(Note: this is a completely different issue than protesting bottled water that sells facet juice)
(Other note: tap water does not include filtered tap water...I am referring to un-filtered tap water)
