Pelosi DID green the cafeteria

Although circulating articles sought to diminish Pelosi's environmental adjustments to congressional eateries, as a new regular on the hill, I can't help but admire all the work she has done.

Undermined as "mahi mahi instead of meatloaf," what has been ignored are the compost receptacles, biodegradable cups and utensils, recycling bins, and less overall packaging in food items.

There is also criticism that members of Congress have the right to eat poorly. Well let me tell you, I still see plenty of fried chicken, greasy cheeseburgers, and fatty gravy to go around for all those without a cardiovascular care in the world.

By the way...the whole get-up is very vegan friendly. But perhaps only Kucinich and I appreciate that.
